Established in the neighborhood of 1,934 Pari,
Sao Paulo, began production of hitherto imported as stearates,
adhesives, paint and products for the manufacture of footwear.
Anticipating the needs of the market, and already

then available, was started in 1,945, the production of
ink to print-based alcohol and colours, with the fancy name
of Luminar.
The exponential growth of packaging industry
in Brazil coupled with development of new technologies,
allowing the development of new colors, made with the ink
for printing become the main product which has caused, in
1,958, was his name social change to Luminar S. Chemical
Industry A.
In 1,965, through the constant searches, and
again worth up to its pioneering spirit, the Luminar started
the production of paints water-based flexographic, who also
got great product on the market receptivity. As for the
first time in Brazil came to flexo ink Water-based printing
in the paper bags.
Keeping their confidence in the potential for
growth in Brazil, at 1,977, the Luminar moved its plant
to modern premises located in Vila Jaguará neighborhood,
strategically located near major highways that cut the country.
Again following the cycles of economic and
social development of the country, with 1,999, the company
expanded its industrial park on 1,600 m2, totaling over
7,000 m2 of built area, and acquired modern high-precision
machines dosadoras which gave the company significant improvements
in its production process allowing the prompt attention
to the needs of our customers with maximum accuracy.
The Luminar stands out today among the
largest producers of liquid inks to print, occupying a position
of prominence in his field of expertise, in terms mercadológicos,
